But why?   I don't have a problem with them taking a more active role.
For sure, they should represent the interests of the body they're
representing and (as much as is possible given the nomcom context) report
back as to how the nomcom is proceeding.  But I see no harm to allowing
them to do as much more work as they're willing to do.  They're there
anyway.
