That's OK too, I also see no reason to make archives - just that I
don't really mind if people decide they want to archive the procedural
part of the process.

But do note that one of the points justifying adding this proposed change
(to make it mandatory that just about everything be archived - archived
encrypted to be more precise) was ...

   2.  An information retention policy was added requiring the Chair to
       submit a collection of all information related to the operation
       of and execution of the responsibilities of the nominating
       committee to the Internet Society President for long-term
       storage.  Previous Chairs have done this so the addition is just
       a formalization of existing practice.

That was sent only to the ietf-nomcom@lists.elistx.com list, not to poised.

This was in among a collection of random innocuous changes considered too
minor to debate individually (others include trivia like adding a definition
of what is a sitting member, and changing "Spring IETF" to "First IETF" (of
the calendar year)).
