Bill, what risks do you think the Nomcom members need to be
insured against? The coverage for the IAB/IESG/WG Chairs is
intended to protect against liabilities incurred in the
standards process. No matter how careful we are, claims can
arise about those things and may need defending. But it isn't
obvious to me why Nomcom members would need similar protection
and against what.
I also can't parse your last sentence, as I am not aware of any
plan to make the ISOC-funded policy go away.
