Bob and all,

  As the noncom and the IETF serve a public function, I think that now that
the net has grown so much it is time for the noncom and the IETF
to change.  The public has a right, as do other IETF participants
whom the list of nominees are and what their background is that
qualifies in them as nominees.  Yes it is true that popularity
may play a part, as it does now, but a different relation
to popularity.  But such is part of the potential growing pains
that would seem necessary to potentially endure.  Accept the
challenge Bob.  I know you and others can.
