  This is exactly right.  Same problem is occurring with ICANN as well
Accountability sometimes requires forgoing confidentiality if a public
service
and interest is at stake.  Transparency and openness is required of the
noncom.

  In part this is true.  Also the IAB/ISOC should and may also
put forth an opinion of their own as well as to noncom decisions,
make public inquiries as to how any decisions were arrived at
as it may effect the stakeholders of otherwise members.

  This is only half of what should and needs to be done.  Any all
nominees should be required to publicly identify themselves, the
process should be open enough to encourage this.
