Yes, but even with that, the instructions to the nomcom are just
guidelines too - so there's the question of conflicting guidelines.

If we were to put something like this in the nomcom doc now, we would
be expressing our current desires, not necessarily those that will even
apply when the next nomcom starts, let alone all the others that will
pass before anyone has the energy to revise this doc again.

I think I'd just leave them out, and make it more clear that better
guidance should be given when the nomcom is created, and that if the
nomcom is still unclear which direction it should go, it should ask.
