If someone wants to add a sentence such as "It is highly desirable that 
members of the IETF leadership have global viewpoints and experience beyond 
that of their nations of residence.", that would be fine with me. But 
otherwise we should assume that the talent pool of nomcom volunteers plus 
liaison's includes enough people who already know this and don't need to be 
prompted.

Also, people should note that you don't have to be born in a particular 
country to have a good world-view. Many of the new IAB members were judged 
by at least some of us as not being US-centric so I don't know where the 
"step-backwards" statement comes from.
