Design Team

Hi,

When I sent my last message I indicated that a design team
was being formed to work with Jim on text that would be
presented to the working group.

This group has been formed consisting of:

Bernard Aboba
Harald Alvestrand
Leslie Daigle
James Galvin
Joel Halpern
Thomas Narten
and me.

We are currently working on reviewing the agenda list that
Jim had sent to the WG list a while back as well as email
discussing that agenda. We should have the topics list, the
first WG objective, ready shortly for review, comment and
consensus process by the full WG.

As with all design teams, it is important for me to state
that the design team is just one voice among many without
special status. Hopefully, however, the design team will be
able to read through the discussions that have occurred
already and the ones to come and will be able to distill
from that a genuine representation of this group's rough
consensus. Of course it will be up to the WG as a whole to
comment on the distillation.
