I would like to vigorously support Robert's suggestion.

We should not confuse discussion of ideas with discussion of 
specifications.  It's fine to discuss ideas, but decisions need to be made 
on specifications.  We know how to do specifications and we know why all 
that detail is important.  Let's apply the knowledge to our our process 
specification efforts.
