Why do you find that odd ? It keeps all of the cash flow inside the I* society.

Look at .ORG, with 3,000,000 names at $6 per name per year, that will raise
$18,000,000 in revenue. At $250,000 per insider (their minimum wage), that
will fund 72 people.

Don't you think they want to protect that cash-flow and those "grants".
