Agenda for Tokyo Meeting 9-11 Nov1998

This is the anticipated Agenda for the Working Group Meeting in Tokyo.  If you
plan to attend and have not done so yet, please send me a message NOW.

Monday, 9 Nov.:  This first day will be primarily devoted to meetings of those
concerned with how specific payment protocols will be tunnelled through the
Internet Open Trading Protocol (IOTP).  There will be an initial general
gathering, about 9am to 10am, to review the overall agenda, followed by
breakout into payment system specific groups, a break for lunch, and
re-assembly from 3pm to 5pm to discuss any IOTP requirements or modifications
that have been suggested by the payment system meetings. One payment subgroup
will be an open payment
meeting on IOTP SET supplement.

Tuesday, Wednesday, 10-11 Nov.:  These days will have the primary technical
discussions related to IOTP.  Expected to run from 9am to 5pm with a lunch
break Tuesday and probably 9am to mid-afternoon Wednesday.  Topics to include:

 1. Status of Implementation
 1.a Royal Bank of Canada (completion of discussion based on recent
final report on 0.9 implementation)

 2. v1.0 Status of Documents and Technical Issues
 2.a Main 1.0 IOTP Document, DTD

 2.d IOTP HTTP Supplment

 3. v2.0 Planning Disucssion of
 3.a requirements
 3.b structure of v2.0 documents
 3.c ... how to proceed towards a fuller IOTP

 4. Future meetings planning
 4.a December IETF meeting, Orlando Florida
 4.b possible additional late February meeting in Europe?
 4.c March 1999 IETF Meeting

Note: it is expected that time will also be available for some open discussion
of OTP Consortium organization.
