I'll support anyoen who wants to sue VeriSign or whatever entity it ends up 
being that keeps this damned wildcard record.  There is the makings of a 
class action suit here.

Like many have suggested this should be a BROWSER FEATURE.  Not a DNS screw 
up.

VeriSigbn did NOT listen to ANYONE but their own damned pocket books.  This 
whole mess has been not for the benefit of anyone BUT VeriSign.  Further 
this lists very existence is a sham since none of the recommendations here 
would have ever been listened to and as has been noted by several, there 
are other appropriate forums for the discussion of this 'change'.  All of 
them are in pretty widespread agreement, dont' do it it breaks lots of crap 
that shouldn't be broken.
