My previous post came out rather strange, likely an unanticipated
interaction between Outlook Web Access and some portion of
my brain.

I was trying to post the following:

  Since Verisign's implementation of its Sitefinder service is simply
  re-directing traffic away from the existing "typo helper" services
  provided by Microsoft and AOL (high percentage browsers),
  perhaps it is time to enlist the big boys.  They have been oddly
  silent on this matter.

  Perhaps thay are waiting to see if it will be solved without their
  legal muscle.
